RVHarmonizers - Quartets

Note: Contact information for RVHarmonizers - Quartets located below.

The following are three men’s acappella quartets affiliated with The Rogue Valley Harmonizers. They would love to perform for you! Be sure to visit the Rogue Valley Harmonizer website: rvharmonizers.org

Lytning

Lytning is an active singing men’s quartet that has been performing in Josephine County for fifteen years. Bob Meisner sings baritone and is an original member of the quartet. Gene Coggins sings tenor, Dick Ahern is lead singer, and Mark Larsen sings bass. Lytning has twice won the senior quartet championship for the state of Oregon and definitely qualifies as a senior quartet since, between the four members, there is a cumulative age of 320 years! Lytning sings in contests, annual shows for the Rogue Valley Harmonizers, and occasionally in retirement homes in the Rogue River Valley.

Spare Parts

Spare Parts is a Men’s quartet singing close harmony arrangements acappella. Most of our songs are familiar to older audiences but we have a few newer ones as well. We are available for light entertainment at lunches, birthday parties, or other gatherings. We typically sing for 30 minutes. Spare Parts is composed of six members. Although it looks like we are really bad at math, it allows us some flexibility in scheduling. We usually show up with only four men to sing the four parts... so we have a couple of “spare” parts.
