Creekside Fiddle Camps are a week of musical fun for kids, ages 4 - 13. Since 2007, young fiddlers and other musicians have gathered for a week in Lithia Park where they get to play music, run around, make friends and spend a great day outside.

At Creekside Fiddle Camp, all musical styles are welcome — Celtic, Folk, Classical, Bluegrass, Rock and more. Kids get to play in large groups with all levels, and small groups of matching abilities. In addition to music education, kids will have opportunities to play games, jump in the creek, play music for “ice cream money”, and simply relax under a tree.

Camps are not only fun, they are a great way to protect your investment in music lessons. Kids who build friendships and have fun around music are much more likely to continue playing after lessons end. Learning new songs, jamming with friends, performing in front of strangers — all these things become a natural activity for kids who attend camp. And when summer ends and school starts, students will approach lessons and practicing with more motivation because they see music as an experience they share with their friends.
