Venue Managers and Music Lovers,
My name is Stephen Michael Moore, a long—time Alaskan musician who has recently relocated to Medford, Oregon. I have performed with such Fairbanks—based bands as Marc Brown and The Blues Crew, New Dawn, and most recently, The Thneeds. While lead guitarist and a contributing songwriter for the Thneeds, the band opened for such acts as Flogging Molly, The Young Dubliners, Collective Soul, Smash Mouth and Rusted Root. The Thneeds released two CDs (“900 Planets” and “Rise of the Frog Machine”), and were the winners of the 2015 Fairbanks Battle of the Bands.
I have recently released a solo CD, “I’ve Been Waiting So”, containing twelve original songs and instrumentals. It is available on iTunes and CDBaby. While I perform acoustically in a mostly folk—rock genre, my musical stylings have also been influenced by pop, rock, punk, folk, old—school country and the blues.
