Patricia Potter is a free-lance violinist, violist, ensemble coach, conductor, and music consultant in the Rogue Valley. She is the Artistic Director of the Second Street Musicians and maintains a private teaching studio in Ashland. From 2004-2013 she was the lead strings teacher and honor orchestra conductor for the Scottsdale, Arizona school district. Her background is rich with music and she has performed with the Rogue Valley Symphony, the Oregon East Symphony, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Association, the American Band College, Ballet Rogue, the Ashland Lithia String Trio, plus a host of other ensembles including the UCLA Symphonic Orchestra and the Lethbridge, Alberta Symphony Orchestra and String Quartet.
Patricia Potter holds advanced university degrees in music and education and has worked as a public school music specialist in Ashland as well as in Pendleton, Oregon and in California, Arizona, and Canada.
